Tips for Making Your Own Swimming Pool at Home

Making your own swimming pool at home is not a difficult thing if you follow the following tips. Swimming pools may not be something that must be at home, especially for people who have houses on narrow land.

Tips for Making Your Own Swimming Pool at Home

But for some people who like to swim Aufstellpools, providing a swimming pool at home is very pleasant. The swimming pool is not only a facility for swimming, but also as a recreational facility, adding to the aesthetics of your home and conditioning your home.

Here are 10 tips for making a swimming pool in your home that you can use to build your own swimming pool. You can also make your own swimming pool using the DIY or Do It Yourself method.

01 Choose a Simple Swimming Pool Design

If you want to build your own swimming pool, of course, you shouldn't choose a complicated swimming pool design. Keep the design as simple as possible, rectangular shapes are better than curved shapes.

02 Swimming Pool Size

When making your own swimming pool, make sure we also know the right size. The minimum size of the swimming pool is 2.5 meters wide so that we are still comfortable moving and turning in the pool. The minimum pool length is 4 meters so that we can still dive properly. We recommend that you use a size in accordance with the multiple sizes of swimming pool ceramics.

03 Flat ground floor

The ground floor is also better made flat. If you want to make a difference to the depth of the pool you should use a ladder. Creating an inclined shape or ramp may require a more difficult technique.

04 Inlet and Outlet

A swimming pool will probably have the inlet and outlet pipes visible from the outside, you would think this would spoil the look but we can cleverly mix that with plants.

Some pool equipment is relatively inexpensive but remember checking the pool water is the most difficult part, so it's best to avoid too many fixtures that break through the bottom waterproofing of the pool.

05 Determining the Depth of the Pool

Swimming pools need a certain depth for swimming stability. The swimming pool can be made as shallow or as deep as you like, but I recommend 1.8 m or less than 2 m, as deeper it will require a lot of foundation reinforcement.

If you are concerned about safety while diving then 1.5 m is a comfortable depth, easy to clean and easy reinforcement of the foundation structure.

06 Swimming Pool Structure

Consult the structure of the pool retaining wall with a structural engineer when in doubt, and remember that the structure's weakest points are where the wall meets the floor, and at the long straight walls. So support it with additional concrete or you can use steel.

07 Drainage of Swimming Pools

Drainage is something that pond owners often neglect. Circular drainage is best for swimming pools. We can also make a channel such as a small gutter to accommodate spilled water so that it does not wet the floor. Make sure you surround your pool with good drainage channels.

If the pool is located deeper than the lowest point of your house, it can make drainage with a pump. However this will consume a lot of electricity when draining the pool.

Those are simple tips if you want to make your own swimming pool at home. Don't hesitate to ask in the comments column if there is anything unclear about this.
