Tips for Maintaining Health during the COVID-19 Pandemic

 The World Health Organization (WHO) has designated COVID-19 as a pandemic because this virus has spread to almost all countries in the world, including Indonesia. The COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia has made us more active at home, such as working, studying, and praying. With the hope that we don't get the corona virus. Even though at cigna telehealth home we have to keep our body healthy because body health is very important to us.


Here are tips for maintaining health during a pandemic:

1. Wash your hands 

Washing hands is one of the most effective ways to prevent transmission or spread of the corona virus because by washing our hands we can maintain a healthy body. A good hand wash begins by rinsing both hands with water. Then soap the palms and rub the entire surface of the skin of the hands, for at least 20 seconds. Then rinse thoroughly using water and dry with a clean cloth.


2. Adjust the diet and eat nutritious foods

Adjusting diet is very important for our bodies to stay healthy. Things that must be considered are eating on time and eating nutritious foods that contain 4 healthy 5 perfect, such as consuming carbohydrates found in rice, milk, potatoes, bread, side dishes, fruits and vegetables.


3. Take vitamins

Taking vitamins is also very important to improve the health of our body. Vitamin C plays a role in improving the health of our bodies because it can accelerate the production of white blood cells which are useful for fighting infections.


4. Consume enough water

Ideally, consume enough water every day, eight glasses, because our bodies need fluids to avoid dehydration. If the body is dehydrated due to lack of drinking, it can eliminate the power of concentration.


5. Keeping the environment clean 

Cleaning the house by using an insecticide to clean touched objects such as door handles, remotes, kitchen utensils, and others.


6. Exercise regularly

Diligent exercise by doing light exercise in simple exercises, such as push ups that are done 10 times a day and aerobics with guidance from an exercise instructor or video.


7. Think positive

Positive thinking is very important for health. Because bad thoughts towards other people and around make us stressed so that it has an impact on our health.
